EntoKitchen® has been created to fill the growing need and market for edible insects. We didn't want to just sell our edible insects, our aim is to make them easier to adopt into day to day cooking, with healthy recipes & alternative treats.
With an ever growing population, we need to come up with a sustainable solution to help fight hunger. We think eating insects could be the answer!

Our 'Ento' comes from 'Entomophagy' which is the practice of eating insects.
The 'Kitchen'... well that's our aim, we want our packets in your kitchen cupboards.
Hopefully we can help you to replace 'Chicken Night' or 'Beef Night' with one of our tasty recipes, or just have fun with our tasty treats.


Meet the team 

We are only a small business based in Mirfield, West Yorkshire but we care about what we do and the quality of our products..
As a small family run business we all  get stuck and work together to in various aspects of the business.

Ben Asquith - Director
With a background in Pet Supplies, Ben has a passion for business. He first started UKPetSupplies back in 2004, created the Chubby Mealworms brand in 2013 which then led us down the road of edible insects for humans in 2019.
Outside of work he keeps busy playing squash, running, biking and has recently taken up triathlons. He is trying to defy the ageing process by being more active every year, and eating insect protein will no doubt help with this.
With 3 young boys, a dog and a wife who likes to be kept busy he leads a hectic life!

Alex Kuleczko - Designer / Photographer

Alex joined the team back in 2014 and brings with him a great wealth of digital design experience and some amazing ideas to bring the brand to life. Alex lives in Huddersfield with his wife and Alex and their two children. In his little spare time he enjoys photography & trying to keeping fit with his passion of mountain biking.

Karly Thornton - Online Marketing
New to the team for 2020, Karly has a background in online sales and marketing. After years of working with Google, Facebook and Linnworks, she is looking forward to growing the brand and its online presence even further.
Outside of work Karly loves spending time with her fiancé, energetic toddler and her Husky, who is equally as energetic. She also loves spending time with friends & family at the weekend, a good book, and a gin!

Alexandra Bradbury- Kuleczko - Master chef
Alex has been a baking enthusiast for years and has self taught herself to bake bigger and better creations as the years have gone on. When she’s not working at Ento Kitchen she runs her own bakery making celebration and wedding cakes. When she’s not working Alex enjoys swimming, reading and spending time with her husband and two children.

Robert Walsh - Warehouse Manager 

Rob joined the team mid 2020.

He works hard and plays harder, he's an avid Mountain Biker & hiker with a passion to explore.

He keeps our warehouse in tip top condition and gets your orders out in a safe & timely fashion.

Jodie Asquith - Chief tester 
Jodie joined the team back in 2014 after working as a Sales Manager for some years. Looking after the Social Media, Customer Service and general day to day running of the business.
She is also the first one in the office to test out the new flavours of insects!
Outside of work Jodie loves the outdoors, running and reading and spending time with her 3 boys and the family and walking the family dog.
