Mealworm Shortcrust Pastry


200g plain flour

30g Mealworm Powder

100g butter, diced

pinch salt


 1. Sift 200g plain flour into a large bowl and mix with 30g mealworm flour, add 100g diced butter and rub in with your fingertips until the mixture resembles fine breadcrumbs.
2. Stir in a pinch of salt, then add 2-3 tbsp of water and mix to form a firm dough. 
3. Knead the dough briefly and gently on a floured surface.
4. Wrap in cling film and chill while preparing your filling.
